Food very good, love the back drops they have for you to take pictures,I like that it's in the heart of downtown Cleveland but make sure you pay for parking if you park in the parking lot next to the building or you will get charge 24 dollars if you just park and don't but it's only 4 dollar parking. The only thing that was negative you can't call to make a reservation and when trying to make one online it only let me do it for 6 and I needed 8 seats and when we got there they sat us at a table for 10.
Love that it is an upscale black owned restaurant! Definitely the place to be to pre-game before the club or simply enjoy the food, music, and filter like experience! Because the lighting is great for pictures and I loved the photo area and my cute picture frame. As in all things there's always room for improvement but I'll definitely be back! Great bathroom mirror too
Everything was full of flavor for brunch and well worth the wait (about 30 min) & Mimosa tower came quick. Good vibes with a live DJ & our server Juanita was great ! Lamb chops aren’t pictured but were AMAZING. Can’t wait to come back for dinner!
The food, service, and atmosphere was 10/10 recommend. This was place on our list to visit as we traveled. The food was the best we've had since we been in town. Our bartender Robin was amazing made the perfect drinks even the virgin drink that was order was impeccable!
I really enjoyed my first time at Filter. From the ambiance with fresh flower centerpieces, to the mood lighting, decor and DJ to our service from Myra, to the food, I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Myra was our server and she was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food came out quickly and the mac and cheese is to DIE FOR! Overall, the food was amazing in flavor while being reasonable in price for nice sized portions. I recommend the cauliflower appetizer, the Caesar salad and the fried lobster tail with Mac and cheese. Did I mention how good the mac and cheese was??!! It’s delicious! Be mindful that there is a dress code. The restaurant sets the tone for a more upscale vibe and I was told I had to cover up because of my cleavage in my dress, that wasn’t a problem for me I closed my jacket. However, upon being seated there were guests dining in see through pants, crop tops, T shirts, sneakers, ripped jeans etc. everyone in there was not dressed more “appropriately.” A suggested area of improvement would be if the restaurant is geared toward a certain dress code (“smart casual” is what is listed on the site) Then the standards should be uniformed for all guests on what is acceptable or not, not just personal preference or opinion. Overall 10/10! I’ve already recommended Filter to friends and family. It’s a must try. I’ll definitely return back to try brunch and to get more Mac and cheese!
Went to filter last night for dinner with my friend. Food was AMAZING—we got seafood dip as an app, herbed chicken and lobster mac n cheese. Very decent portion sizes, cute atmosphere and ambiance. Our waitress was amazing despite getting me the wrong drink—drink still ended up being good. No dj when we went but the music was amazing. Staff were overall very friendly. I only wished we would have been notified of the 20% gratuity added to our bill for a table of 2.... I honestly had planned on giving her more than that. I cant wait to come back!
We had a fantastic time on a Sunday night. Very few people in the restaurant meant the atmosphere was very friendly. The setup with a DJ may be louder at a busier time but would recommend this timing for more intimate experiences! The dishes, the fried Thai cauliflower 4/5, sea food dip 5/5!, brussel sprouts side dish (the best) 5/5!!!!, chicken and Mac 5/5, shrimp and lobster tail 5/5, spicy honey salmon 5/5!!, the catfish Gouda grits (the best) 5/5!!!, New York Strip steak 5/5! All of the food was amazing. The food was cooked to order. The New York strip was medium rare and was exactly what you would expect. If you want a high end comfort meal, this place hits the spot in
Okayyyyyyy. Y’all this food is amazing. The pasta your way with chicken and shrimp was sooo soo good. Lobster tail, do I even need to say more ??! The ambiance is wonderful and I went for my birthday and y’all it’s the perfect birthday vibe !!!! Don’t walk ...run.
